Belize Weather: Mostly fair weather continues but increase in showers on the way

By BBN Staff: Generally fair weather prevails over the area according to the National Meteorological Service.

Skies are forecast to be sunny with a few cloudy spells today and partly cloudy to cloudy tonight. Showers or thunderstorms will be isolated today and then a few more will develop over southern areas tonight.

High temperatures will be 89 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 94 degrees over inland areas; and 81 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 81 degrees along the coast; 75 degrees inland and 68 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly at five to 15 knots. The seas will be slight with waves of one to three feet.

Tides will be high at 12:35 this afternoon and low at 7:38 this evening.

The sun sets at 6:30 this evening and rises at 5:27 Thursday morning.

A few showers and isolated thunderstorms will develop around the country on Monday, then continue especially over central and southern areas on Monday night.
