The three-day event runs from July 19-21 and will gather Chief Medical Officers, Public Health Agencies, International Development Partners, CARICOM, and other regional entities. The event, titled “Stakeholder Consultations on Regional Health Security (RHS) – The Way Forward,” will be held at the Hyatt Regency Trinidad.
“The RHS Meeting will gain stakeholder input to adequately prepare for and respond to major public health threats, issues, and concerns that transcend national boundaries and potentially impact on economic and political stability, trade, tourism, and access to goods and services in the Region,” CARPHa said.
CARPHA also noted that, on Wednesday 20th July, it will convene an event to highlight a partnership between the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
