Belize welcomes new non-resident High Commissioner of Canada

Last week, Prime Minister John Briceño welcomed the new non-resident High Commissioner of Canada, Rajani Alexander, who presented her letter of introduction signed by Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau.

The Prime Minister wrote, “We are hopeful that through [Commissioner Alexander’s] tour of duty, we’ll be able to advance mutual interests and strengthen our already positive bilateral relations.

Canada has long been a sponsor of programs in Belize from health to education to the environment to infrastructure.
