Lieutenant Junior Grade Juanito Bulum is the recipient of a UB scholarship

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On July 7, 2022, the University of Belize (UB) and the Belize Coast Guard signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for scholarship opportunities to advance career development among officers.

Present at the ceremony were Francis Fonseca, Minister of Education, Culture, Science and Technology, and Florencio Marin, Minister of Defense and Border Security.

The first scholarship recipient of the MOU is Lieutenant Junior Grade Juanito Bulum.

Lieutenant Bulum will pursue a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Management) degree at the University of Belize.
