By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: The Belize Tourism Board (BTB) is encouraging the public to nominate their favorite food vendor to be a part of the Belize International Music and Food Festival on July 30 and 31, 2022.

The BTB is accepting nominations for:

Best Lobster Chef

Best Village Food

Best Tamales

Best Soup Vendor

Nominations are open from July 18th – 20th, 2022.

Voting will place July 22nd – 23rd, 2022.

Three finalists will be given the opportunity to have a booth at the 2 – day event and will receive a cash prize of BZD $500 which will be issued at the event upon setup of the booth.

By nominating your favorite food vendor, you also get a chance to win a general ticket (day of your choice) to the festival!
