By Aaron Humes: Today’s report from the Ministry of Health and Wellness shows 121 new cases of COVID-19 countrywide, down from yesterday’s figure.
Active cases now stand at 646 with four persons hospitalized. No new deaths have been reported.
The Belize District added 41 new cases including 33 in Belize City and three in San Pedro Town; there were 24 new cases in the Cayo District, including six in the Twin Towns, four in Belmopan, and three in Benque Viejo; 19 in the Corozal District, including eight in Corozal Town; 17 in the Orange Walk District, including seven in Orange Walk Town; 13 in the Stann Creek District and seven in the Toledo District.

Overall, Belize has reported 66,438 cases of COVID-19 since the pandemic began in March of 2020.
