Minister of State Mike Espat, motorcyclist collide near Swasey Bridge

By Aaron Humes: A traffic accident was reported in the South on Thursday night, though none of those involved was seriously injured.

Our colleagues at KREM News report that Toledo East area representative and Minister of State Mike Espat’s vehicle collided with a motorcycle in the vicinity of Swasey Bridge.

The motorcyclist was taken to hospital for treatment, but we understand his injuries are not life-threatening. Minister Espat was reportedly not injured.

Police are said to be investigating.
