Asian store-owner robbed at gunpoint in Stann Creek district

By Benjamin Flowers: An Asian business owner in San Roman Village, Stann Creek District, was robbed at gunpoint in broad daylight yesterday, police say.

Reports are that 43-year-old Hongwei Lu was at his business Nang Fang Store around 9:50 a.m. when three men entered the store.

One of the men was armed with a gun and pointed it at him while another man demanded money.

The trio made off with an undisclosed amount of money in different denominations and an assortment of electrical items from the store.

Police are investigating.
