Elisha Martinez is Cayo’s new Queen of the Bay

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Elisha Martinez, Miss Cayo North sponsored by Minister Michel ‘Micho’ Chebat, won the Cayo Queen of the Bay Pageant held on Thursday night, according to San Ignacio-Santa Elena Town Councilor Shirlene Neal.

The pageant was held at the Cayo Resilience Center at the Victor Galvez Stadium in San Ignacio.

Martinez was also voted Miss Eloquent.

Miss Santa Elena Jadah Garbut, sponsored by Bamboo Tea and Uno Gas Station, is the first runner-up.

Miss Amity was won by Jaquelin Soto.

Miss photogenic was won by Keanni Guerrero

Miss Talented was won by Jadah Garbut.

As is customary, Martinez will be crowned during the 10th of September ceremonies in San Ignacio by the outgoing Queen of the Bay 2021-22 Miss Alessandra Valdez.
