By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service forecasts mainly fair weather. Skies will be sunny with some cloudy spells today and partly cloudy tonight. A few morning showers and isolated thunderstorms mainly over central and northern areas and otherwise isolated activity today; then isolated showers or thunderstorms with slightly more along the coast late tonight.
High temperatures will be 87 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 91 degrees over inland areas; and 81 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 81 degrees along the coast; 74 degrees inland and 68 degrees in the hills.
Winds are easterly to northeasterly at 10 to 20 knots. The seas will be choppy to moderate with waves of three to six feet. A small craft caution is in effect for gusty winds and locally rough seas near heavy showers and thunderstorms. This will likely be lifted by this afternoon.
Tides will be low at 2:21 this afternoon and high at 8:39 this evening.
The sun sets at 6:28 this evening and rises at 5:29 Monday morning.
The outlook for Monday: mainly fair weather will continue with isolated showers or thunderstorms, slightly more over the north Monday morning and then over the south on Monday night.
