Julian Henry charged for fatal shooting incident in Belmopan

By Aaron Humes: Police have announced the arrest of 26-year-old Julian Henry of Mariposa Street, Belmopan, on a charge of manslaughter.

On Friday night, July 22, Henry and another individual were inside his residence on Mariposa Street while Daniel Orellano was outside in the yard.

Police say Henry was handling a 12-gauge shotgun that went off, exiting a nearby window and striking Orellano in the lower face and neck. He died from his injuries in hospital.

Police had named another suspect in the incident as part of their investigations.
