Flash flood at the Moho River in Blue Creek; Public advised to exercise caution

By Benjamin Flowers: Today, the National Hydrological Service (NHS) issued a notice of a flash flood in southern Belize.

The NHS’s latest river condition update said that the Moho River at Blue Creek and Jordan was experiencing flash flood conditions

“THE BLUE CREEK SOUTH BRIDGE IS IMPASSABLE AND LEVELS CONTINUE TO RISE,” the NHS said. “Citizens in these areas are advised to exercise extreme caution.”

The NHS said that it will issue another update as needed.
