Belize Weather: Mix of sunshine and showers

By BBN Staff: Relatively moist and unstable conditions linger over our area according to the National Meteorological Service.

Skies today will be sunny with cloudy spells and cloudy at times tonight. A few showers and isolated thunderstorms will continue to affect the country.

High temperatures are 87 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 92 degrees in inland areas; and 80 degrees in the hills. The low temperatures tonight range from 81 degrees along the coast; to 74 degrees in inland areas and 68 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly at five to 15 knots; the seas will be slight with wave action of one to three feet.

Tides will be high at 8:04 this morning and 9:51 this evening, and low at 3:46 this afternoon.

The sun will set at 6:28 this evening and rise at half past five Wednesday morning.

On Wednesday, expect a few showers and isolated thunderstorms along the coast and over the south in the morning and later at night, with isolated showers elsewhere.
