Belmopan police find over a pound of marijuana in Salva Pan

By Benjamin Flowers: Belmopan City police have taken more than a pound of marijuana off the streets.

Officers conducting searches on Guatemala Street in the Salvapan area conducted a search in a bushy area and found a black plastic bag that contained marijuana.

The marijuana amounted to 543 grams (1.19 pounds).

There was no one in the area at the time of discovery, so police labeled the drug as found property.
