By Rubén Morales Iglesias: More traffic and construction warning signs are being stolen along the Philip Goldson Highway and Remate Bypass Upgrade Project route, according to the Ministry of Infrastructure Development & Housing (MIDH).
In a press release, the Ministry said these signs “are essential in ensuring the safety of all road users and construction workers” and therefore “strongly condemns these actions and implores the public to use good conscience and refrain from the theft and vandalism of any traffic/construction signs”.
“Sometimes the biggest challenges to national development are staring at us in the mirror. Let’s work together to build Belize,” said the MIDH.
