Ambassador of Morocco visit Presiding officers of the National Assembly

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On Monday, July 25, Ambassador of Morocco, Abdelfattah Lebbar visited Speaker of the House of Representatives, Valerie Woods and President of the Senate, Carolyn Trench Sandiford.

The discussions between the presiding officers of parliament and Ambassador Lebbar were held separately in the Speaker’s Office at the National Assembly Building in Belmopan.

Among the topics discussed was future collaborations and parliamentary exchanges between the parliaments of both countries.

Ambassador Lebbar extended invitations to both presiding offices to visit the Kingdom of Morocco.

Ambassador Lebbar was accompanied by Illias Jebbari, Councilor.

Present during the visits was Calrita Pech, Deputy Clerk of the National Assembly.
