Caribbean teams arrive in Birmingham, UK for Commonwealth Games

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Many of the Caribbean’s best athletes will participate in the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England.

More than 300 athletes and officials from the Caribbean will compete in the games.

Antigua and Barbuda, Turks and Caicos, Montserrat, Anguilla, and Belize will be looking for their first Commonwealth Games medals, Loop reports.

The 21^st edition of the Commonwealth games will see the issuance of 1,800 medals.

Fourteen athletes from Track and Field, Cycling, and Triathlon are representing Belize at the games.
