Belize exports Lobster to Taiwan

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Taiwanese residents can enjoy delicious lobster cuisines with lobsters imported from Belize.

On July 22, 2022, the Belize Embassy in Taiwan said that Johnson Seafood Co., LTD in Taiwan has shared their excitement in photos unloading their containers of lobsters imported from Belize.

The shipment marks the first containers benefitting from the Economic Corporation Agreement (ECA) between Belize and Taiwan that became effective in January 2022.

“We thank Johnson’s for their interest in BELIZE seafood products and for sharing tangible benefits of the ECA,” the Embassy said.

From July 13 to 17, the 2022 Taiwan Economic and Business Cooperation Mission visited Belize and met with Government officials and private sector representatives to further discuss trade and investment opportunities.
