Belizean living in US shot and killed

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On Tuesday, Belizean Christopher Williams was shot multiple times during a robbery in Illinois, Chicago.

According to reports, during the robbery Williams, his cousin, and her boyfriend sustained gunshot injuries.

He was taken for medical treatment and later placed on life support and he died on Thursday morning.

A relative told Love News that Williams had gone to purchase gas when someone opened their door and robbed them, then shot them.

“Christopher will be missed by everyone because he was a kid that everybody loved. He was a humble child and if you can see on Facebook, everybody posts the same thing. He was humble. Nobody even thought Christopher could talk because he was not the talking kind. He leaves behind his girlfriend,” his aunt Michelle Walford said.

William’s mom, Eva Salinas says that she was in shock when she received the news that her son had been shot.

The family has opened a GoFundMe page to raise funds to bring his body to Belize.

William’s left Belize when he was 12 and attended high school in the US where he lived with his aunt.
