Brothers shot near Roaring Creek cemetery by assailant on motorcycle

By Aaron Humes: A late night shooting on Friday left three men injured, two of whom are hospitalized.

According to police, 22-year-old Jose Castillo and his brother Anthony, 18, both of Young Bank area, Camalote, Cayo, are hospitalized in stable condition while a third man with the last name Delgado was also injured, but reportedly managed to escape.

Just before midnight on Friday, Jose and Antonio Castillo were on a motorcycle along with Delgado, headed down the George Price Highway from Roaring Creek to Camalote. On reaching the Roaring Creek Cemetery, a single man also traveling on a motorcycle and coming from the opposite direction fired at them several times.

The brothers were transported to the Western Regional Hospital where they remain at this time. Police investigations continue.
