Did a fall kill Raymond Jones, a former member of the Gilharry 7 band?

By Aaron Humes: Police continue their investigations into the sudden death of Raymond “Lion” Jones, 59, of Corozal Town, a former member of the Gilharry 7 band.

Police say that on Thursday afternoon around 2:00, Jones and other persons were sitting on a three-foot-high cement fence on Fifth Avenue, allegedly drinking. Jones is said to have fallen backward and landed on the ground in a crouched position, then stopped moving.

Jones was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. Police are investigating.
