Gofundme page launched to bring the body of Christopher Williams to Belize for burial

By Benjamin Flowers: The family of Christopher Williams, the Belizean living in Chicago, USA, who died from gunshot wounds sustained in a robbery, has started a Gofundme page to bring his body home to Belize for burial.

Williams, who left Belize at the age of 12 to go to school in the US, was shot several times during the robbery on Tuesday, July 26, and was placed on life support until he eventually passed away on Thursday, July 28.

“My aunt and our family wishes to bring her baby back home to Belize. Please, help us make this possible. She not only has to deal with medical expenses but flying his body back from Chicago to Belize and then funeral arrangements,” explained Yonella Teck, the cousin who set up the page.

All funds raised will go towards the expenses associated with bringing Christopher’s body to Belize.
