Motorcyclist loses life in Emancipation day traffic accident on Hummingbird Highway

By Aaron Humes: Police and emergency personnel responded earlier this morning to a serious road traffic accident that occurred outside Dangriga Town.

At the Mile 6, Stann Creek Valley Road junction with the Southern Highway, a badly damaged motorcycle was observed on the side of the road along with one man who was apparently motionless.

Latest information to Breaking Belize News (BBN) is that the motorcyclist died as a result of the injuries sustained in the accident.

Investigations continue and motorists are advised to exercise caution generally while travelling on our highways.
