By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Football Federation of Belize said it will be holding a three-day capacity building workshop entitled ‘FIFA Football for Schools’ (F4S) for 45 teachers and coaches.
The 45 are divided into ten FFB coaches and 35 teachers from schools throughout the country.
The three-day workshop will be held August 15-17, 2022, at the Princess Ramada in Belize City.
“The Football for Schools aims to contribute to the education, development and empowerment of boys and girls around the country by incorporating football activities into physical education curriculums,” said the FFB.
FIFA says Football for Schools is “a programme where football meets education, inspiring children to learn life skills through fun football sessions”.
The course is to be facilitated by FIFA Football for Schools Project Leader Alexandre Gros and Football for Schools Technical Consultant Alberto Giacomini.
“The coaches are to report to the Princess Ramada hotel no later than 9:00 a.m. on the first day of the training,” said the FFB.
