Woman detained after domestic dispute leads to fatal stabbing

By Aaron Humes: The Domestic Violence Unit is investigating a reported fatal stabbing incident occasioned by an alleged domestic dispute.

The complainant, whom we will not name for legal reasons, told police that she got into a dispute earlier this morning with Louis Adolphus, 39, at their home in Belize City. She admitted stabbing Adolphus during the incident.

Adolphus died of his injury after treatment at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital and the complainant has been detained pending further investigation.
