Belize Weather: Fair weather prevailing

By BBN Staff: Fair weather prevails according to the National Meteorological Service. Skies today will be sunny and tonight partly cloudy with isolated showers or thunderstorms only.

High temperatures will reach 89 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 94 degrees in inland areas and 82 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 81 degrees along the coast; 74 degrees inland and 68 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly at five to 15 knots. The seas will be light chop with waves of two to four feet.

Tides are low as of 7:49 this morning. A high tide occurs at 1:40 this afternoon, followed by a low tide at exactly eight p.m.

Sunset this evening is at 6:24 and sunrise on Thursday morning at 5:32.

Continued fair weather should be expected on Thursday, with only isolated showers or thunderstorms countrywide.
