By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Belizean cyclist Alicia Thompson completed the Individual Time Trial at Commonwealth Games in Birmingham on Thursday morning.
Thompson finished 30th in 55 minutes, 7.72 seconds (55:07.72). She was 15:02.52 behind the winner, Grace Brown from Australia who clocked 40:05.20.
Thompson rode the race at an average speed of 19.59 miles per hour. Brown’s speed was 23.96 miles per hour.
Anna Henderson of England won silver in 40:38.55 and Georgia Williams of New Zealand took the bronze in 41:25.27.
