Minor arrested in connection with shots fired in Ladyville last night

By Benjamin Flowers: Police have arrested and charged a 17-year-old male in connection with a shooting incident in Ladyville Village last night.

Two male minors told police that they were on their way to a grocery store just before 8:30 p.m. when the assailant, who they knew by name, emerged from an alley and fired several shots at them.

The assailant then jumped on to an awaiting motorcycle and fled the scene. Both minors who were shot at, escaped unharmed and later made reports to police in the presence of their parents.

The shooter was picked up earlier today and police say he chose to remain silent during questioning.
