Police recover motorcycle, firearms, and ammunition in Belize City

By Benjamin Flowers: Belize City police conducting anti-drug and firearms operations have confiscated a number of items during searches on the South Side of the city.

On Thursday, officers conducting searches on Plues Street found a brown plastic bag that contained a .45 caliber pistol which had in an empty magazine.

Officers conducting searches on Tigres Street found a bag containing three pounds of marijuana, and those conducting searches on Neals Penn Road found a red Honda Storm motorcycle without a license plate.

The motorcycle was impounded and taken to the police station. All other findings were sealed, labeled, and deposited as found property.
