Shots fired in Jane Usher Boulevard area of Belize City

By Aaron Humes: Sometime this evening police say shots were fired in the vicinity of Mud and Curl Thompson Streets in the Jane Usher Boulevard area of Port Loyola, Belize City, but it is not clear if anyone was hurt.

According to police, officers working in the area stated that they heard about 2 shots coming from the area close to a certain residence.

The responding officers say they were told that some young men were hanging out by a church yard in the area, and after the gunfire they ran away.

No one came out to make any report and no scene was located. Police investigation continues.
