Unidentified man injured in apparent hit-and-run

By Aaron Humes: Police are investigating and seeking the identity of a victim of a hit-and-run traffic accident in Corozal Town on Saturday night.

The male person is described as being about 5 feet 6 inches tall, clear complexion, and having short black hair.

The injured man, according to Police, was believed to have been struck from behind by a black car at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and Second Street South. He was said to have been walking south on Fifth Avenue at the time of the incident around 10 p.m.

The man is now hospitalized at the Corozal Community Hospital as investigation continues.
