Accused robber in critical condition in hospital

By Aaron Humes: One of the three men suspected of trying to rob Angel Ku overnight on Saturday remains in hospital in critical condition while the others remain on the run.

Ku told police that three men accosted him on Bakers Street but he took out a utility knife, allegedly to defend himself, and stabbed one of the robbers. That person is hospitalized at the Northern Regional Hospital.

Police say they do not yet have details on who the other robbers may have been as the complainant says the incident happened too quickly for him to gather any detail that caught his eye. Their investigations continue.
