By Breaking Belize News Staff: A moist and unstable easterly airflow is supporting primarily cloudy skies today according to the National Meteorological Service.
Skies will be occasionally sunny in breaks but there will be showers and thunderstorms along central and southern coastal areas this morning, decreasing by afternoon, then re-developing mainly over the south tonight, with mostly cloudy skies elsewhere.
High temperatures are 86 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 90 degrees inland and 81 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 78 degrees along the coast; 72 degrees inland and 68 degrees in the hills.
Winds are easterly at five to 15 knots; sea state will be light chop with waves of two to four feet.
Tides will be low at 1:43 this afternoon, then high at 8:14 this evening. Sunset is at 6:22 this evening and sunrise on Tuesday at 5:33 in the morning.
Skies will remain generally cloudy on Tuesday with outbreaks of showers and thunderstorms over most areas, but especially along the coast.
