Curtis Valerio of Griga Conquerors is MVP of NBB Amateur Interdistrict Competition

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Curtis Valerio of Griga Conquerors was voted Most Valuable Player of the National Bank of Belize Amateur Interdistrict Competition which concluded on Sunday when his team claimed the national title over Club Atlético of Belmopan at the FFB Stadium in Belmopan.

The Griga Conquerors also received five other awards: Ryan Saravia was named Best Goalkeeper, Evan Mariano was voted Best Defender, Harrison Roches was Best Forward, Clint Logan Best Midfielder, and Kareem Haylock got the Best Coach award.

Wilfredo Galvez of Club Atlético received the top goalscorer award while Progresso FC got the Fair Play Award.
