San Ignacio and Santa Elena Town Council and Minister of Sports discuss sporting facilities in Twin Towns

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Today, Mayor Earl Trapp and councilors of the San Ignacio and Santa Elena Town Council met with Minister of Sports, Rodwell Ferguson and representatives of the Sports Council to discuss lighting and maintenance of sporting facilities in the Twin Towns.

Councilor Zahir Figueroa said that the council and the Ministry will sign a Memorandum of Understanding to formalize a partnership to share the load of maintenance of the facilities.

Figueroa added that this is being done so that all facilities are in usable conditions at all times for residents.
