Wanted fugitive Rosendo Nunez recaptured

By Benjamin Flowers: Police have managed to recapture wanted fugitive Rosendo Nunez.

The Belize Police Department confirmed this afternoon that Nunez, who had been at large since yesterday, was in custody.

Nunez escaped from the Belize City Magistrate’s Court after he had received a five-year sentence.

Nunez is expected to be additionally charged for escaping lawful custody.
