Mahler attended meetings today along with Director of Tourism for the Belize Tourism Board, Evan Tillett; Chairman, Aviation Development Committee-ADC, Anthony Hunt; Development Counsellors International representative Pamela Laite; and Vice President of Campbell-Hill Aviation Group, Nicolas Gurwicz .

“The Belize delegation continued with their visits in Canada, meeting with existing airline partners to check in on how the current routes are doing and learn of how we can foster future growth in existing and possible new air routes,” the BTB said.

The BTB noted that the team also met with airline marketing teams to discuss how Belize can collaborate to build awareness in the Canadian market and grow new air routes.

There are currently two Canadian airlines offering flights to Belize: Westjet, which began offering flights to Belize in October 2016, and Air Canada, which started in December 2017.
