63-year-old father charged for sexual assault of nine-year-old daughter

By Aaron Humes: Police have arrested and charged a 63-year-old man of Corozal Town, Corozal District for two counts of sexual assault.

On Wednesday, a nine-year-old girl and her mother visited the Corozal Town Police Station and reported that earlier that day, a man the girl identified as her father touched her inappropriately.

Police investigations led to the arrest and charges against the senior citizen. None of the persons involved can be named in order to protect the identity and privacy of the minor.
