“All other archaeological reserves are open for visitation,” said the Institute of Archaeology (NICH) Belize on Thursday.

“The IA/NICH will continue to monitor river conditions and provide necessary updates.”

The IA/NICH also advised visitors to all archaeological reserves “to exercise caution at all times”.
