On Saturday, the subchamps blanked the winless Belmopan Bandits 2-0 at the Isidoro Beaton Stadium in Belmopan, securing their third consecutive win which keeps them atop the Premier League of Belize standings, two points ahead of champs Verdes.

While Rene Leslie and Andres Orozco converted for the tournament leaders, goalkeeper Oscar Palomino stopped a penalty kick to ensure their goals-against record remains at zero.

The Bandits, on the other hand, have lost all their first three games and are worse to their worst start ever. At the moment, the Belmopan-side find themselves at the bottom of the standings without a point to show for their efforts.
