Port Layola double up on San Pedro Pirates 2-1 in Premier League of Belize

By Ruben Morales Iglesias: Port Layola FC defeated the San Pedro Pirates FC 2-1 at the MCC Grounds in Belize City on Sunday.

Sean Young hit early in the 6’ and then he scored again in the 43’.

Rayjan Jones got one back for the Pirates in the 65’ but that was all they would manage, and Port got away with the three points.

The Belize City side now has four points from a win, a draw, and a loss. They moved up from the seventh position to fourth place in the PLB.

The Pirates have three points from a win and two losses and find themselves in fifth place.
