By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service forecasts generally fair weather.
Skies today will be sunny with a few cloudy spells and tonight partly cloudy. Shower activity will be isolated except for isolated thunderstorms inland in the afternoon and showers and isolated thunderstorms tonight and tomorrow morning in the extreme south.
High temperatures are 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 93 degrees over inland areas and 82 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 80 degrees along the coast, 74 degrees inland and 68 degrees in the hills.
Winds are from the east to southeast at five to 15 knots. The seas will be choppy with waves of three to five feet.
Tides will be high at 1:12 this afternoon, then low at 7:28 this evening. Sunset occurs at 6:17 this evening, and sunrise on Wednesday morning is at 5:35.
Wednesday brings cloudy skies with some outbreaks of showers and thunderstorms, starting along the coast, then spreading to most areas in the daytime, increasing overnight along with thunderstorms associated with the passing of a strong tropical wave.
