By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service forecasts mostly cloudy skies today, becoming overcast tonight. A few showers and thunderstorms will affect most of the country today, then several showers, thunderstorms and periods of rain will affect mostly central and northern areas tonight.
High temperatures today will reach 86 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 87 degrees over inland areas and 78 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 77 degrees along the coast, 71 degrees inland and 67 degrees in the hills.
Winds are from the east to northeast at five to 15 knots. Sea state is choppy with waves of three to five feet.
There will be a high tide at 1:59 pm followed by a low tide at 7:59 pm. Sunrise is at 5:36 am on Thursday; sunset is at 6:17 this evening.
For Thursday, there will be some showers, periods of rain and thunderstorms in most areas especially the north, decreasing, then a few showers and isolated thunderstorms will linger over coastal areas on Thursday night, decreasing as well.
