By Rubén Morales Iglesias:  The PUP Fort George announced the death of Ms. Susie Price on Tuesday.
“It is with great sadness that we mourn the loss of Katherine Louise Price “Susie,” sister of the Rt. Hon George Cadle Price and Dr. Jane Usher,” said PUP Fort George in a social media post.

“As we come together as a family, we cherish all the great memories we had with Aunt Susie! May her Soul Rest In Peace,” said the PUP Fort George post.

“It is with deep regret that The Nurses and Midwives Council of Belize notes the passing of Katherine “Susie” Price, RN/MSN. We extend our deepest condolences to her family and friends. May she rest in peace,” said the Nurses and Midwives Council of Belize (Nmc Belize).

The Nmc Belize said Ms. Susie registered with the council in 1974 and worked for many years at the Belize City Hospital. She also lectured at the Bliss School of Nursing.

“She lived a life of service to people, particularly the thousands she was able to help through her nursing profession,” said the Nmc Belize

Ms. Katherine Price was one of my nursing lecturers in my early years of nursing education at the Bliss School of Nursing. “Ms. Price was the head teacher of the Bliss School of Nursing when I attended for my first round of nursing studies. Her persuasion for and insistence on professional behavior were unwavering.
