Beloved grandma and food vendor loses her life in a tragic fire

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Many residents have taken to social media to extend their sympathies on the death of beloved grandma and rice and beans vendor, Marlene Wellington of San Ignacio Town.

Marlene wаѕ thе vісtіm оf а hоuѕе fіrе rероrtеd last nіght at her home on 18^th Street in San Ignacio.

Marlene was known by many since she would usually be selling her homemade rice and beans in front of the Wing Sing store near Victor Galvez stadium.

Many relatives and friends describe her as being a “sweet and loving person”.
