Graphic designer Leroy Cus was stabbed to death on his way home in Belmopan

By Aaron Humes: Leroy Cus, 18, of San Martin Area, Belmopan, was reportedly found dead on the central walkway just before nine Wednesday night.

According to a police report, he had been stabbed multiple times while apparently on his way home, in the area between St Ann Primary School and the Belmopan branch of James Brodie and Company Limited. Coincidentally, Cus works as a graphic designer at the main branch of Brodies in Belize City.

Worried family members, realizing that Leroy had not reached home from work by his usual time, went out looking for him after failing to reach him on his cell phone, and thereafter made the discovery of the body. He was said to have been holding two bank cards but nothing else was apparently found.

Police are now investigating.
