By Breaking Belize News Staff: Generally fair weather prevails according to the National Meteorological Service.
Skies will be sunny with cloudy spells today and partly cloudy tonight; showers or thunderstorms will be isolated.
High temperatures are 89 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 93 degrees over inland areas; and 80 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 81 degrees along the coast; 74 degrees inland and 68 degrees in the hills.
Winds are easterly at 10 to 20 knots. The seas will be choppy with waves of three to five feet. A flood warning remains in effect for low-lying and flood-prone areas, particularly in the north and center.
Tides will be low at 10:42 this morning and 9:32 this evening and high at 4:42 this afternoon. The sun sets at a quarter past six this evening and rises at 5:36 Saturday morning.
Fair weather continues through Saturday with showers or thunderstorms remaining isolated except for the south on Saturday night.
