Corozal farmers ask for help with flooded vegetables

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Corozal farmers are calling for help with their vegetables that got affected by the heavy rainfall on Thursday.

According to Informa T Corozal, some vegetables “are underwater”.

The Corozal social media outlet posted a photograph of watermelons practically covered by water and directed readers to a post by Oscar Reyes about people complaining about the price of vegetables but not being considerate of the situation farmers have to face such as the competition with contraband vegetables, and now, flood.
