Institute of Archaeology says all archaeological reserves are open

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Institute of Archaeology said on Friday that all archaeological reserves in Belize are open.

The Nohoch Che’en Archaeological Reserve was closed on Thursday due to raising river conditions but is now open.

The IA/NICH said it will continue to monitor river conditions and provide necessary updates as required.

At the same time, IA/NICH advises visitors to continue exercising caution at all times.
