The tourist was staying in a rental home but traveled to various destinations in Cuba before presenting symptoms.
On Thursday, he sought medical attention and tested positive for Monkeypox.
The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared the Monkeypox outbreak a global health emergency.
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) noted that there are now 41, 358 cases of Monkeypox.
Around the world, there has been 12 deaths to Monkeypox.
